PESCO hold open kacheris in Mardan, Khyber circles

imagePESHAWAR: The PESCO officers on Tuesday held open katcharies in Khyber and Mardan circles on the directives of Minister of State for Water and Power Chaudry Abid Sher Ali and issued spot orders on different matters.

The kacheris were held under the supervision of concerned superintending engineers, says a PESCO press release here on Tuesday.

A large number of people attended it and their electricity related complaints were addressed on the spot.

The katchery of Pesco Khyber Circle was held at Urban-1 sub division Kohat under the supervision of Superintending Engineer Bakhtzada Khan along with the XENs and SDOs.

Complaints regarding bifurcation of some 11 KV feeders, over billing, bill installments, load-shedding, theft of transformers, assessment charges, old poles and conductors were presented by consumers. The PESCO officers issued necessary orders for its solutions.

An open katchary was held under the supervision of superintending engineer Pesco Mardan Circle Muzaffar Khan at Mardan Cant sub division Bijli Ghar. Complaints of consumers regarding wrong meter reading, assessment charges and load shedding were addressed.

The open katchary of Hazara Circle was postponed due to heavy rain and now would be held on Friday at 11 am.
