MULTAN: Police claimed on Saturday to have arrested 80 criminals including 48 proclaimed offenders during separate raids across the district.
According to police, police conducted raids at various locations and arrested 48 proclaimed offenders who were wanted by police in different cases of dacoities, robberies, theft and other crimes. Four of them were most wanted criminals according to the list of most wanted criminals issued by the IG Punjab.
The police have also apprehended nine drug peddlers and five illegal weapon holders and recovered 23 litre liquor, 230 gram hashish, 12 gram heroin, three pistols, one klashnikov, one repeater and 15 bullets from their possession, police added.
Cases have been registered against the accused.
