The King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan and ‘Tevar’ actor Arjun Kapoor is reportedly set to star in a remake of iconic movie ‘Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi’ with the ace filmmaker Rohit Shetty. Previously, Rohit Shetty has worked with Shahrukh Khan in ‘Chennai Express’.
According to media reports, Rohit is making the remake of the cult classic 'Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi' and for the flick, he has roped in Shahrukh and Arjun. They will be seen sharing screen space for the first time ever. A source close to the development revealed that, the original script had three brothers and we are sticking to the concept.
However, there is no official announcement made about the female lead. Rumors are Aishwarya Rai Bachchan may be roped in for Madhubala’s role in the movie.
'Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi' is a 1958 Indian comedy film. The film featured Kishore Kumar, his two brothers Anoop Kumar and Aahok Kumar and Madhubala as a female lead.
