The Queen of Pop Madonna’s latest single ‘Rebel Heart’ leaks online and the authorities are trying to find out the person responsible for the leak.
An unauthorised 40 second preview of the track was first posted on November 28, though it now appears that a more completed version has been leaked on several web portals.
The source of the leak seems to have puzzled Madonna and her team. The singer’s manager Guy Oseary took to Twitter to seek help in finding the culprit. “I would be grateful to any Madonna fans that can assist us in finding those responsible for the leak. We appreciate your help,” he posted.
According to media reports, Madonna has been hashtagging ‘Rebel Heart’ from quite some while to create excitement among the fans. A Twitter account named ‘RebelHeartLeak’ claimed it would be leaking the song soon after it was recorded. The account has since been deleted and is not believed to have been involved in this latest leak which came about last Thursday.
However, as per the latest leak, the song didn’t impress the audience and they aren’t amused with the lyrics. One posted on Twitter, “‘RebelHeart’ clip leak. Same old, boring introspect lyrics. Terrible vocal. Hoping that’s a demo run. The music itself sounds ok, meaty”.
