Iggy Azalea hits back to Eminem for his controversial lyrics in a song ‘Vegas’ from his forthcoming album ‘Shady XV’.
According to foreign media reports, Iggy Azalea has taken to Twitter to hit back at Eminem, after the rapper released a new song in which he talks about raping the Aussie star. Just a week after he was widely criticised for his freestyle on new track ‘Shady Cxvpher’, in which he threatened to punch singer Lana Del Rey ‘in the face twice like Ray Rice’, Eminem’s continued his misogynistic streak, with a one-minute preview of his latest track ‘Vegas’.
Azalea took to Twitter to express her anger and said, “I’m bored of the old men threatening young women as entertainment trend and much more interested in the young women getting trend”.
“It’s especially awkward because my 14 year old brother is the biggest Eminem fan and now the artist he admired says he wants to rape me. Nice,” she added.
Eminem has a history of rapping about abusing women. Prior songs included lyrics about Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera.
