UBS adds Bezeq to "most preferred" list

JERUSALEM: UBS has added Bezeq Israel Telecom to its "most preferred" emerging markets telecoms list, citing expectations of higher profit.

In a report released on Sunday UBS also moved Russia's MTS to the list, replacing rival Vimpelcom. In the Indian market, UBS added Idea Cellular onto the list in place of Bharti Airtel

UBS also removed Turkcell from its "least preferred list" of EMEA telecoms, although it said Turkey's largest mobile phone operator remained among its least preferred telcos.
