KARACHI: Three ships arrived to load/offload containers at QICT, furnace oil at FOTCO on Friday.
Berth occupancy was 71% at the port on Friday where a ten ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey - Powership, M.V Maersk Kingston, M.V Kumasi, M.V Sprit of Mumbai M.V Rio Maderia, M.V DL Dahlia, M.T Arietis, M.T Norgas Orinda, M.T Sea Harvest, M.V Mega Lohare are currently occupying berths to load/offlaod containers, palm oil furnace oil ethylene, rape seed and coal.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the port where a cargo volume 78370 tonnes comprising 67924 tonnes import, 10446 tonnes export and 2595 TUES was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
M.V Sprit of Mumbai, M.v Maersk Kingston sailed on Friday, M.T Norgas Orinda, M.T Sea harvest and M.V Rio Maderia sailed on Saturday.
