Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone ‘Bajirao Mastani’ to be most expensive Indian movie

After ‘RamLeela’ Sanjay Leela Bhansali is coming up with another big budget movie ‘Bajirao Mastani’ with the bollywood’s most admired couple.

Reportedly, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer will be most costly Indian movie which will go on floor soon.

According to media reports a source close to movie said, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali has earlier made a very lavish period film ‘Devdas’. But there he could allow his imagination to control his budget somewhat, although at Rs 65 crores ‘Devdas’ was one of the most expensive films of the current millennium. In ‘Bajirao Mastani’ there can’t be compromises. Every detail has to be authentic”.

The story will revolve around the history of Maratha, creating such ancient depiction of Maratha will require huge sum of money.

The clothes, jewellery, armory, locations and sets would be as authentic as possible. There will be no compromise on quality. In terms of scale and pitch Sanjay Bhansali’s role model for his historical in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ is evergreen movie ‘Mughal-e-Azam’, media reported.
