Drama serial ‘Dastan-e-ishq’ is based on Brazilian drama ‘Caminho das Índias’ (India- A love story) and now about to go on-air on Pakistani TV Channel ‘Play Max’.

‘Dastan-e-Ishq’ has been awarded with 'Emmy Award' which has been given a modified picture within the Industry. The drama series carries sentimental, idealistic and romantic touch.
The Brazilian dramas are widely popular internationally. ‘Dastan-e- ishq’ was among the most favorable shows on Brazilian television.
The ‘Dastan-e-Ishq’ story lies between beliefs and values that differentiate the Eastern and Western world, the soap opera brings to the screen a story of contrasts. It was one of the Brazil's highest-rated programs, often appearing at the top of the daily's ratings released by the Brazilian Institute of Public Opinion and Statistics.
As the story delves with characters in Rio de Janeiro, Rajastan and some elements in Dubai. Many themes are explored in the drama, including love, reason, sanity, insanity, and finally tradition versus modernity.
It will hit the air from 18th August 2014 daily on Pakistani newly launched TV channel ‘Play Max’.
