ISLAMABAD: Ufone has announced an availability of free 3G trial services in Karachi as the service would remain free for its customers till commercial launch.
The company has earlier offered free 3G services on trial basis to its customers in Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The customers are free to use Ufone's 3G services till they reach a daily quota limit of 200MBs and after 200MBs of download or upload within a day, the subscribers would be served with degraded 3G data services.
According to coverage map of Ufone's 3G services in Karachi, there are 220 locations where its 3G services are already available. Map showed that there are at least 150 more locations where 3G services will be made available in coming days.
Ufone's 3G coverage is spanned in whole of Islamabad while major parts of Rawalpindi - particularly along with Murree Road - are covered with Ufone 3G services.
Meanwhile, the subscribers of Ufone have expressed happiness over the provision of 3G service on trial basis in Karachi and complained of low broadband speed at their mobiles at different locations.
Most of the subscribers also asked the company to share in details about procedure of activation so that maximum of them could use this trial service.
