ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Dr. Jamal Nasir has said that the Railway Minister is working very hard to improve the efficiency of Railway.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said that present government has decreased the fares of railway.
Present government is observing complete transparency in all public dealings which has been recognized by the international financial institutions, he opined.
Head of Department, International Relations, National Defense University Islamabad, Dr. Muhammad Khan has stressed the need to construct double modern railway track in all parts of the country.
He said that it is very important to improve the efficiency of railway through its modernization as it is our strategic asset.
He said bad governance and corruption greatly affected the working of railway in the past.
Analyst Rana Ghulam Qadir also said that that Khawaja Saad Rafiq has brought transparency in Railway.
He added number of commercial wagons of railways have been increased which helped the department to increase its revenue.
In the past bad governance and political interference have affected the working of railway in Pakistan, he said.
