Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: One ship arrived at port to load/offload containers at QICT, on March 1st, 2014.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 36pc at the port on Saturday where a seven ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey - Powership, M.V MSC Didem,M.V MSC Jenny, M.V Nord Tradition, M.V Ocean Future are currently occupying berths to load/offload, containers, cement.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the port where a cargo volume 52745 tonnes comprising 16499 tonnes import, 36246 tonnes export and (2337) Tues was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

M.V MSC Jenny sailed on Saturday afternoon.
