KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers, chemical and furnace oil were berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and FOTCO Terminal respectively.
Meanwhile, five more ships carrying containers, cement, canola seed and furnace oil also arrived at outer anchorage, of Port Qasim during last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.
Berth occupancy was 30pc at the port on Thursday where total three ships namely CGM Puccinl, Argent Gerbera and Blue Sea are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, chemical and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 81563 tonnes comprising 68018 tonnes imports and 13545 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1060 containers (TEUs) were handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
