Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers, furnace oil and edible oil were berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal, FOTCO Terminal and Liquid Cargo Terminal on Monday.

Meanwhile one more ships carrying diesel oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy was 35 percent at the port on Tuesday where total four ships namely Saf Marine Ngami, Blue Cat, MT Karachi and Feng Hai 35 are currently occupying berths to load/offload, containers, cement, furnace oil and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.

A cargo of 80830 tonnes comprising 67851 tonnes imports and 12079 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 860 containers (TEUs) was handled at the port during last hours.
