imageBollywood actress Deepika Padukone is riding high after giving four consecutive hit films this year with 'Race 2', 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', 'Chennai Express', and the most recent ‘Ram-Leela’.

Padukone, who is reputed for taking on very different roles in each of her films, is reportedly the most in-demand actress amongst filmmakers and audiences. The actress made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with the blockbuster hit ‘Om Shanti Om’, after which she struggled following her releases 'Break Ke Baad' 'Karthik Calling Karthik', 'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey' 'Lafangey Parindey' and 'Aarakshan', which received a lukewarm response at the box office. However, by giving at least one hit a year, the actress managed to keep herself in spotlight.

Her third film opposite superstar Saif Ali Khan, ‘Cocktail’, was a solid hit, after which Padukone bagged one hit after another.

‘Ram-Leela’ is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and features Padukone opposite ‘Lootera’ star Ranvir Singh. The film reportedly had a stupendous opening weekend and raked in Rs 33 crores in the first week. The romantic saga secured the fifth spot in the list of top openers of 2013 and the tenth place amongst Bollywood’s top 25 openers.
