ISLAMABAD: A total of 81‚224 Pakistani hujaj have so far reached Saudi Arabia‚ an official of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony said Monday.
He said as many as 56‚769 government scheme and 14‚455 private scheme pilgrims have so far reached Saudi Arabia for performing the sacred religious obligation.
He said the Hajj operation was going smoothly. The operation to airlift over 143‚368 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia would be completed on October 9.
He urged the Pakistani pilgrims to obey Saudi laws‚ ensure patience and observe cleanliness during their stay in Saudi Arabia.
Pakistani women pilgrims should also ensure wearing Abaya. A pilgrim‚ having any problem must contact Pakistan Hajj Mission for prompt redressal of problems‚ he added.
