KARACHI: Four ships arrived at Port Qasim to load/offload containers at QICT,and chemical at EVTL and diesel oil at FOTCO on August 24.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 85% at the Port on Friday where a total of twelve ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican BEY- Powership, M.T Gulf Oasis, M.V Dong Hai Jun (Dredger), M,V Ikam Salmon, M.V Beks Nazik, M.V Allince Richmond, M.V MSC Cliementina, M.T Chemroad Haya, M.T STX Forte, M.T Helen, M.V Avion, M.T AL-Salam-II are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, containers, palm oil, chemical, wheat, diesel oil.
Cargo handing operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 71010 tonnes comprising 54449 tonnes import, 16561 tonnes export and (1365) Tues was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.V Bux Contact, sailed on Friday afternoon, M.V MSC Clementina, M.V Alliance Richmond, M.T STX Forte sailed on Saturday morning.
