PR to introduces SMS in Rawalpindi division

imageISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Railways (PR) will introduce Short Messaging Service (SMS) in Rawalpindi division to inform the passengers about late departure of trains to avoid inconvenience.

According to Superintendent Rawalpindi Division Syed Munawar Shah, the Lahore division had been requested to provide the software which it was using to notify passengers regarding the exact time of trains' departure.

Munawar Shah said the short messaging service had recently been introduced in Lahore division.
