KARACHI: Four ships carrying containers, edible oil, iron ore and furnace oil were berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal, IOCB Terminal FOTCO Terminal on Sunday, 30th June.
Meanwhile two more ships carrying containers and chemical also arrived at outer anchorage of port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 65% at the Port on Monday where a total seven ships namely Maersk Chicago, Zea Hai, Vindo Nissa, Bunga Melatidua, Alitis, Pearl Jabel Ali and M.T Akaki are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, rice, cement, edible oil, soya been, iron ore and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 72452 tonnes comprising 64871 tonnes imports and 7581 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 832 containers ( TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
