KARACHI: One ship arrived at the Port to offload palm oil at LCT on June 29, Port sources said here Sunday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 50 percent at the Port on Saturday where a total of seven ships namely M.V Kps-I Alican Bey - Powership, M.V Vindo Nissa, M.V Msc Levina, M.T Al Salam-II, M.T Argent Aster, M.V Zea Hai 505, M.V Alitis are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, rice, containers, soyabean seed, diesel oil, palm oil.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 96330 tonnes comprising 56643 tonnes import and 39687 tonnes export 169 (TUES) was handled at the Port during the last 24 hours.
M.T AL Salam- II, M.V Msc Levina sailed on Saturday afternoon.
M.T Akaki at FOTCO, M.V Jabel Ali at IOCB, M.V Bunga Melti at LCT, Maersk Chicago at QICT arrived on June 30, 2013 as per arrival schedule, Port sources further said.
