KARACHI: Four ships arrived at the Port to load/ off load containers at QICT, cement at MW-3 and diesel oil at FOTCO on June 28, Port sources said here Saturday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 50% at the Port on Friday where a total of seven ships namely M.V Kps-I Alican Bey - Powership, M.V Vindo Nissa, M.V Msc Levina, M.V Saigon Express, M.T Al Salam-II, M.V Zea Hai 505, M.V Alitis are currently occupying berths to load/ offload cement, rice, containers, soyabean seed, diesel oil.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume of 92829 tonnes comprising 58258 tonnes import and 34571 tonnes export-- 3381 (TUES) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.V Saigon Express sailed on Saturday morning.
M.T Argent Aster at LCT arrived on June 29, 2013 as per arrival schedule, Port sources further said.
