Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port to load/offload containers at Qict, palm oil at LCT on Friday.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 50% at the Port on Friday where a total of four ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey - Powership, M.V Sargasso Sea, M.T SC Xiamen, M.V Bella-l are currently occupying berths to load/offload container, palm oil, rice.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 61825 tonnes comprising 34600 tonnes import, 27225 tonnes export, 2930 (Tues) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

M.T SC Xiamen sailed on Saturday Morning.
