KARACHI: The Returning Officer will decide on Sunday the fate of the nomination papers filed by former president Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf for the National Assembly's constituency NA- 250.
According to details, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader and former City Nazim Karachi Niamatullah Khan, who is contesting elections from the same constituency, in his petition alleged that the former president is not eligible to fight polls in the light of Articles 62 and 63 as he declared emergency in the country in 2007 in violation of the Constitution.
