ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari Tuesday administered oath to the new 14-member caretaker cabinet, that will look after the affairs of the State till a new government is elected into power through general election.
Caretaker Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso, Speaker National Assembly Fehmida Mirza and prominent personalities were present on the occasion, here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
Those administered oath include Malik Habib, Ahmer Bilal Soofi, Dr. Musaddaq Malik, Arif Nizami, Sohail Wajahat H. Siddique, Shahzada Ahsan Ashraf Sheikh, Maqbool H.H.Rahmatoola, Abdul Malik Kasi, Asad Ullah Mandokhel, Mir Hassan Dhomki, Dr.Sania Nishtar, Feroze Jamal Shah Kakakhel, Dr. Younis Soomro, Shahzada Jamal. The portfolios of the ministers will be announced later.
The National Assembly was dissolved after the completion of its five-year term on March 16, the caretaker Prime Minister took oath of office on March 25, while the general election will be held on May 11.
