KARACHI: Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat- ul- Ebad Khan, has appointed Dr. Afzal as the Vice-Chancellor of the NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi for a four-year term.
An announcement to this effect was made by an official of the Governor House here on Friday.
The appointment, it was pointed out, has been made in the light of the recommendation of the Search Committee that was constituted for the purpose.
Earlier, Engr. Abul Kalam who had served the institution for more than 16 years, relinquished the charge.
