KARACHI: One ship arrived at the Port to load/ offload chemical, at EVTL on Friday, Port sources said here Saturday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 36% at the Port on Saturday where a total of five ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey- Powership, M.V Michaels, M.V Julian, M.T Akaki, M.T STX Eastern are currently occupying berths to load/ offload containers, furnace oil, chemical, iron ore.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 48154 tonnes comprising 43833 tonnes import, 4321 tonnes export and (253) TUEs was handled.
M.V Michaels sailed on Friday afternoon, M.T STX Eastern sailed on Saturday morning.
M.V MSC Ayala, M.V Cape Flores at QICT, and M.T Al Salam-II at FOTCO arrive on February 23, the sources said.
