KARACHI: Two ships arrived at the Port to load/offload containers at QICT, palm oil at LCT on Friday, port sources said Saturday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 57% at the Port on Saturday where a total of eight ships namely M.V KPS-I, Alican Bey-Powership, M.V Asian Express, M.T Bunga Melati-4, M.T Success Marlina-33, M.T Feng Hai-32, M.V MSC Jade, M.T Qubaa, M.V Maritime Suzana, are currently occupying berths to load/ offload, containers, palm oil, canola seed.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume of 62904 tonnes comprising 56710 tonnes import, 6194 tonnes export and (1867) Tues was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.V Asian Express, M.T Success Marlina-33 sailed on Friday afternoon, M.T Qubaa sailed on Saturday morning.
