Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: One ship arrived at Port Qasim to load/ offload containers at QICT on January 18, port sources said Saturday.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 21% at the Port on Saturday where a total of three ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey-Powership, M.V MSC England, M.V Star Eracle are currently occupying berths to load/ offload. containers, fertiliser.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 35513 tonnes comprising 19584 tonnes import, 15929 tonnes export and (1500) Tues was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

M.V CMA CGM Latour at QICT and M.T Harsanadi at EVTL arrived on January 19, as per arrival schedule.
