GARHI KHUHDA BUX: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf Thursday offered Fateha at the mausoleum of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and paid rich tribute to the great leader, who revolutionalised the life of a common man.
He also offered Fateha at the graves of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and other members of the Bhutto family.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Minister for Defence Syed Naveed Qamar, Law Minister Farooq H Naek, Minister of State for Information Sumsam Ali Bokhari, former Punjab Governor Latif Khosa, Senator Raza Rabbani, and other federal ministers and senior officials.
Talking to media persons briefly, the Prime Minister said the gathering of millions from across the country was a reaffirmation to the ideals of the great democratic leaders and expression of a resolve to continue the democratic traditions in the country.
Replying to a question, the Prime Minister said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari launched his political carrier the day he opened his eyes into a politically dynamic family that has carried forward rich traditions. Bilawal will carry forward the mission of his great grandfather and mother and bring progress and prosperity to Pakistan, he added.
