Punjab Finance Minister Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bakht has said that the provincial government is making all possible attempts to curtail the financial implications arising due to coronavirus.
The minister was presiding over first meeting of the steering committee on economic stabilization in response to COVID-19 by the Chief Minister.
The meeting was arranged by the Planning and Development (P&D) Board to discuss government's plan to tackle financial implications in the wake of COVID-19. The committee has been directed to take imperative actions on health, infrastructure and financial needs, economic impact analysis, and social protection plan for the vulnerable community.
