Gold price drops by Rs12,489 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant decline on Saturday, mirroring losses in the international market, with per tola gold dropping by over Rs12,000.

Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Saturday in line with their loss in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs455,327 after a decline of Rs12,489 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs389,772 after it fell by Rs11,240, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Friday, gold price per tola reached Rs467,816 after a decline of Rs1,469 during the day.
The international rate of gold declined by $124 to reach $4,328 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs463 to reach Rs7,267 per tola.
