PARTLY FACETIOUS: Ahsan has the ‘vision’ to go well beyond govt’s tenure
“I reckon they have found The Visionary’s replacement.”
“The Visionary! Oh I get it – President Trump – like all visionaries his contemporaries do not understand and therefore support his visions.”
“I would take out the word support, he is the President, and he has been making a difference, OK so perhaps not where the conflicts relating to Israel and Ukraine are concerned but…”
“Our President has gone off to Dubai for a three or four-day trip and…”
“He has one or more residences…”
“It’s an official trip and yes it’s not fair – the triumvirate goes all over the world – interesting places and our President gets to do a…a Third Wife.”
“Third Wife – the spiritual guide of The Man who Must Remain Nameless and Faceless?”
“Yes she only went to Arab countries…”
“Yeah they do give very, very, nice gifts I hear but going back to The Visionary – I was referring to Ahsan Iqbal – he has the Vision to go well beyond the tenure of the government.”
“Are you sure? The guy literally took a bullet for the Sharifs. Besides if Mian Nawaz Sharif has put his replacement in, why can’t they have a replacement for Ahsan Iqbal?”
“Right but replacement is necessary – the circle of life as you know.”
“Hmmm so who is the replacement?”
“Governor State Bank of Pakistan Jameel Ahmed – his projections are now going well beyond his tenure.”
“Hey he can be reinstated after the end of his term which is in August 2027. If I were him, I would prefer to remain as Governor rather than as Planning Minister.”
“He may have a choice as long as the triumvirate remains supportive.”
“Triumvirate?”
“The Source Mian Nawaz Sharif, the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister.”
“Really that’s your triumvirate! You need your head examined.”
“My head is fine thank you, it’s my wallet…”
“Oh shush.”
