Lahore Tigers beat Textile Tigers by 7 wickets in the first Lahore Veteran Cricket Champion Trophy at Ittefaq Cricket Ground. Textile Tigers batting first scored 186/6 in 30 overs. Former Test cricketer Ashraf Ali hit unbeaten 77 runs. Muhammad Nadeem (43) and Khalid Habib (22) were other scorers. Shan Shahid took 2/33.
In reply Lahore Tigers achieved the target in 28.2 overs. Mujahid Jamshaid played well with 97 runs. Saif-ur-Rehman (44) and Shan Shahid (20 not out) were main batsmen Filmstar Shan Shahid gave away man of the match award to Mujahid Jamshaid.
