Multi-billion euro contracts announced at air show

Contracts worth more than four billion euros have been announced during this year's week-long Berlin air show (ILA), organisers said on Saturday.
"Deals have been agreed, which is a good sign for our field," said Hans-Joachim Gante, head of the German aeronautical industry federation, who was upbeat about the outlook for the sector.
The week-long show, which ends on Sunday, had drawn more than 100,000 industry professionals by Friday, according to organisers, who expected another 100,000 visitors over the weekend.
More than 330 aircraft were on display at the former Schoenefeld airport - including the A340-600, the largest existing Airbus jet, manufactured jointly by European aeronautical and defence contractor EADS and Britain's BAE systems.
