In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (ii) of section-2 of the Price Control and Prevention of Profiteering and hoarding Act 1977 (XXIX of 1977).
In suppression of its Notification No. S.R.O. 743(I)/78 dated the 10th June, 1978, the Federal Government has authorised the officers appointed below to exercise, within their respective jurisdiction the powers of the Controller General Prices and Supplies under clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the said Act as far as these relate to the items mentioned at serial number, 3,6,7,10 to 15,17,19,20, 25 to 27,52 and 64 of the Schedule to that Act and under clauses (d), (f), (g) & (j) of the said sub-section (2) in respect of all items mentioned in that Schedule namely:-
1. Secretary Industries, Government of (i) Punjab (ii) Sindh (iii) Balochistan and North West Frontier Province.
2. Director of Industries, Government of (i) Punjab (ii) Sindh (iii) Balochistan and North West Frontier Province.
3. All District Co-ordination Officers (DCOs).-PR
