Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif and Diva Rekha Ji were all set to share the screen with each other in Abhishekh Kapoor’s ‘Fitoor’.
According to Pinkvilla report, the two actresses even shot together for many scenes. However, later, the evergreen diva walked out of the film due to issues with 'Kai Po Che' director.
When Katrina was asked if she was disappointed when Rekha step out the film, she said, "Every film has its own destiny. Of course I would have loved if Rekha ji was in the film. It was great working with her and I would have loved had she completed the movie very much so. But these things are not in our hand."
"Having said that, working with Gattu (Abhishek) was an amazing experience. That is when you understand that the director will extract the performance in the right way. If he wasn't super specific it wouldn't have turned out to be so good. His parameters of right wrong were sorted", she added.
Katrina and Aditya Roy Kapur will be reshooting certain portions of the film with Tabu, who has stepped in to Rekha's shoes.
The film will be in theatres on February 12, 2016.The film releases on February 12, 2016.
