Director Rahul Dholakia is all set to step back into Bollywood after five years with his new film ‘Raees’, which will release on Eid next year. The film stars Shahrukh Khan with Pakistani actress Mahira Khan.
Mahira Khan is a Pakistani television and film actress and is best known for her role in ‘Humsafar’ as Khirad Ehsan. In 2011, she made her film debut with ‘Bol’ directed by Shoaib Mansoor. She has been praised a lot for her incredible performance opposite to Pakistan’s heartthrob Fawad Khan. After the incredible success of Pakistani drama series ‘Humsafar’ across the border, the Pakistani actress Mahira Khan will make her Bollywood debut with ‘King of Bollywood’ Shahrukh Khan in ‘Raees’.
The movie ‘Raees’ is an action thriller drama, co-produced by Excel Entertainment and Red Chillies Entertainment. According to Indian media reports, in the movie, SRK would be seen playing the role of a bootlegger and Mahira would be playing his love interest. Nawazuddin will embody a policeman chasing King Khan’s character.
The movie ‘Raees’ is directed by Rahul Dholakia and it will release on Eid next year.
