imageRight before the most significant World Cup match against India, Pakistani cricketers Shahid Afridi Ahmed Shehzad and other eight Pakistan player have been fined for the violation of World Cup law.

According to the local media reports, eight of the Pakistani players, which also included former captain Shahid Afridi and opener Ahmed Shehzad, were fined 300 Australian dollars (US $230) after they came late to their Sydney hotel on Sunday.

The team manager Naveed Cheema declared the players arrived at hotel 45minutes late after having a dinner. They have also been warned if they repeat this mistake they will be thrown out of the ICC Cricket World Cup tournament.

These players went with their friends for dinner but came back late,’ said a squad source. The Pakistan squad has asked for apology and not to offend the law again. And they have reminded if the players repeat such breach they will be send to their home from the very first flight, local media reported.

Pakistan team will kick off their first match against arch- rivals India on Sunday, February 15, 2015 in Adelaide ground.
