Actress Dia Mirza, who has turned movie producer, says acting has taken a backseat as she is enjoying the process of filmmaking. Dia Mirza, who got married last month, is currently busy working on two film scripts.
Dia Mirza's last big screen outing was a Bengali film in 2012. The actress co-owns ‘Born Free Entertainment’ with her husband Sahil Sangha and they have produced films like’ Love Breakup Zindagi’ and ‘Bobby Jasoos’.
According to reports, Dia Mirza said in an interview, “There have been acting offers but nothing is decided right now. I am really enjoying being part of the filmmaking process for now. I would definitely want to come in front of the camera and do a film. I enjoyed that phase of my career. May be next year I will be able to finally take a call on the film which I will star in”.
Dia Mirza added that they are currently busy working on two film scripts. The actress said that like their last film ‘Bobby Jasoos’ starring Vidya Balan, which was about a Hyderabadi woman aspiring to become a detective despite facing a series of obstacles, their upcoming projects will also have a social message.
