Shahbaz condemns attack on Hamid Mir

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here Saturday strongly condemned the attack on a prominent journalist Hamid Mir.

He viewed that attack on Hamid Mir was an attack on freedom of expression. He also prayed for his early recovery.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also expressed profound grief over the sad demise of Shakeel Mirza, DIG Motorways. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
