Heat wave to hit Karachi from tomorrow

• The Met department stated that during the heatwave, which will continue till May 21, the sea breeze will remain suspended.
• The Sindh government has imposed an emergency in all hospitals across the province, keeping in view the heatwave.

(Karachi) The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast a heat wave in the city starting tomorrow (Monday), with the mercury expected to rise up to 42 degrees Celsius.

The Met department stated that during the heatwave, which will continue till May 21, the sea breeze will remain suspended.

The weather is likely to remain hot and dry during these days.

Meanwhile, the Sindh government has imposed an emergency in all hospitals across the province, keeping in view the heatwave.

On May 5, Karachi experienced its first heatwave that lasted for four days.
