MULTAN: Chief Justice (CJ) Lahore High Court (LHC), Anwarul Haq on Tuesday said that Bar and Bench were enjoying ideal relationship for a common objective of dispensing justice to the masses. Addressing a ceremony arranged in his honour by Multan High Court Bar Association here, the LHC CJ said that Bench and Bar were well aware of the issues and both were committed to resolve the problems of people.
He added that judge was duty bound to listen everyone and fulfill all requirements for dispensing justice.
He lauded the step of holding courts at evening for the family cases in Lahore. In family cases, women and kids mostly face numerous problems and the courts were facilitating then for timely dispensation of justice, he added.
High Court Bar Association Multan offered lifetime membership of the bar to the chief justice.
On this occasion, Justice Abid Aziz Shiekh, Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza, Justice Shahid Mubeen, Justice Faisal Zaman, Justice Sardar Ahmed Naeem, Justice Mujahid Mustaqeem, Justice Tariq Saleem Shiekh, Justice Anwar ul Haq Punnun, Justice Jawad Hassan, and Justice Sadique Mehmood Khurram were also present.
