imageEid Celebration begins a couple of days before from the actual festival day when people starts shopping for their outlooks and fitness. Every year Eid ul Fitr shopping trends keep on changes with the passage of time. They buy new colorful clothes and accessories. Celebrations often continue for an entire week.

According to a local media report, the traders also seemed happy owing to the rush in the markets and the hustle bustle of the shoppers, the majority of who consisted of women and children. The shoppers were inclined for buying new clothes, jewellery and shoes etc. A traffic jam was also witnessed in old city areas, including Liquatabad, Teen Hati, Karimabad and Tariq Road where a number of major shopping centres are located. Similarly, a rush of shoppers was also seen at North Nazimabad, Clifton, Defence, Saddar and Zainab Market among other areas.

“Stepping out while fasting and that too in this humid monsoon season is very difficult and therefore, I prefer going shopping at the night-time,” said a lady shopper.

Pakistani people have been spending a lot of money and time on shopping and stuff in order to make appearance attractive and charming. Clothes are men's & women’s best friends to stay fashionable and trendy, up-to-date with the latest fashion trends. Brand awareness is also becoming a common thing among people.

The whole situation from parking to the crowded streets and traffic jams makes difficult for men to endure that pain but still the women’s have that craze of shopping specially on chaand raat.
