High power transformer to be installed

PESHAWAR: In order to cater to growing demand of electricity, a high power transformer is being installed at 132 KV Peshawar City Grid Station due to which extra load management will be carried out on 11 KV Urmar, Lala, Chughal Pura, Chimkani and Khagra feeders.

The extra load management apart from the routine load shedding will be carried out from December 5-9, said Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO), in a statement, on Saturday.

The release added that installation of the high power transformer will resolve the problem of low voltage and frequent power outages in the areas feeding from it.
