KARACHI: On Friday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 16602.67 with a positive change of 75.59 and volume of 156344130 shares.

High and Low were 16651.79and 16527.08 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 185,619,080 shares with 305 total traded companies out of which 143 were up, 145 were down and 17 were unchanged.

Construction and Materials (Cement) was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 80,417,700 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 25,785,700 shares.

The three top traded companies were Fauji Cement with a volume of 65,020,000 and price per share of 17.10 (0.26), Jah.Sidd. Co.with a volume 18,711,500 of price per share of 17.41 (0.76) and K.E.S.C. with a volume of 15,260,000 and price per share of 6.98 (0.05).

The top three advancers were Bata (Pak) with price per share of 1722.00 (82.00), Wyeth Pak Limited  with price per share of 930.00 (40.00) and Sanofi-Aventis Pak with price share of 366.03 (17.43).

The top three decliners were Nestle Pakistan Ltd. with price per share of 4655.00 (-245.00), UniLever Pak with price per share of 10600.00 (-94.25) and Sunrays TextileXD with price per share of 163.36 (-8.59).
