Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port to load/offload containers at QICT on November 3.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 78% at the Port on Friday where a total of eleven ships namely M.V Karadeniz, Powership, M.T Harsanadi, M,V Fiesta, M.V Dai Duong Sunrise, M,V Maha Deepa, M.V Cape Flores, M.V MSC Clementina, M.T Mercur, M.V Chang An, M.V Inc Friend Ship are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, rice, soya seed meal, Meg, steel scrap, phos. acid was handled at Port during last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 35565 tonnes comprising 18008 tonnes import, 17557 tonnes export, 1231 (Tues) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

M.V Cape Flores, M.T Harsanadi sailed on Saturday afternoon. M.V MSC Clementina. M.V Fiesta sailed on Sunday morning.

M.V Maersk Montana at QICT and M.V DN Vatan arrive on November 4.
