KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qasim to offload soya seed meal at B.No.3, chemical at EVTL on November 2.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 78 percent at the Port on Friday where a total of eleven ships namely M.V Karadeniz, Powership, M.T Harsanadi, M,V Fiesta, M.V Dai Duong Sunrise, M.V Vishva Malhar, M,V Maha Deepa, M.V CMA CGM Amber, M.T Euro Sea, M.T Mercur M.V Chang An, M.V Inc Friend Ship are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, rice, soya seed meal, Meg, steel coil, steel scrap, furnace oil, phos. acid was handled at Port during last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 63491 tonnes comprising 57277 tonnes import, 6214 tonnes export, 39 (Tues) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.V Hammonia Pacificum, M.V CMA CGM Amber, M.V Vishva Malhar sailed on Friday afternoon. M.T Eura Sea sailed on Saturday morning.
M.V Cape Flores, M.V MSC Clemmentina at QICT arrive on November 3.
