flood4 400ISLAMABAD: Norway has allocated an amount of 3.5 million dollars for the flood victims of Pakistan.

 

Norwegian Ambassador Ms Cecilie Landsverk in a statement in Islamabad said that this assistance will be channelled through UNICEF and Norwegian Church Aid, Radio Pakistan reported.

 

She said the amount is in addition to 12 million dollars humanitarian funds already allocated to Pakistan this year.

 

She said Norway is providing emergency relief in response to the floods, especially to vulnerable children and women and Norwegian Church Aid is providing life-saving services for water and sanitation.
