FloodsLAHORE: Punjab government is working for rehablitation of flood victims on priority basis.

Efforts will continue till complete rehabilitation of flood victims an official of Punjab Disaster management Authority (PDMA) said here on sunday.

He said that 63,770 ration packs, 35,000 rice bags, 37,000 atta bags, 15,000 blankets and 45,000 mineral water bottles have been distributed among affected persons through 272 trucks so far.

He said that PDMA is providing daily use items according to the demand regularly to the flood affected people of Rajanpur and Dera Ghazi Khan.

He said that all district administrations of the province are vigorously providing relief goods. He said that 8967 tents have been distributed among flood victims of Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur whereas edible items are also being provided through fabricated storage to these districts.

He said that 3,644 people are residing in 23 flood relief camps set up in flood stricken areas where three times cocked food is being provided to them by the administration.
