ISLAMABAD: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Thursday released 266,708 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 282,462 cusecs.
According to the data released by IRSA, the maximum water level in River Indus at Tarbela was 1495.00 feet which was 117.00 feet higher than its dead level of 1378 feet.
Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 167,800 cusecs while out flow was recorded as 160,000 cusecs.
The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla was 1164.40 feet which was 124.40 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 23,754 cusecs and 15,000 cusecs respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 202,867, 203,964 and 106,130 cusecs respectively.
Similarly, from River Kabul a total of 31,100 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 60,608 cusecs released from River Chenab at Marala.
